If you don't agree with any of the following I have to say, feel free to argue. This is a freedom of speech stamp after all ;D Just don't flame, because flaming is really childish. I realize that not everyone is going to agree with me, even if I think what I'm saying is the most reasonable thing in the world, but please act your age.

No, this isn't about a certain American amendment. This is about a person's right to their own opinion. What has finally pushed me over the edge to even MAKE a stamp like this is after browsing around youtube for a bit, and then later on being told that a certain News Station here in Georgia is getting threats because they don't feel the need to report anything on the -theory- of Global Warming. I'm sorry, but even when there's a dictator in power that's beheading people for speaking against them, it's not going to stop people from having their own opinion.

Exercising your freedom of speech does not give you the right to threaten people because they're exercising their own freedom of speech. If you don't like what another person thinks, and you want to say something about it, go ahead. But it's really childish when people stoop down so low as to threaten another human being just because they happen to think differently from you.

It doesn't matter what your religion, race, political views, etc. are. Everyone deserves the right to say what they truly feel and NO ONE has the right to abuse them for it. So what if someone thinks your favorite rock band is the worst ever? Does that HONESTLY hurt you? And really, who CARES if a TV show happens to have a couple of Christian hints? Or Atheist for that matter? If you don't like it, then don't watch it. Don't sit there and bash the people who happen to agree with what the show is saying.

There is a huge difference between not liking a person's opinions and not liking a person -because of- their opinions :/ It's a shame so many people don't seem to get that.

So next time instead of wasting your time flaming a certain individual for thinking differently, think of this stamp. No one likes to be flamed or threatened, but people are generally more willing to listen to your own opinion if you keep a calm, level head.

I chose red and orange because they stand out. And that's exactly what I want this stamp to do: Stand out.
